This is an A7D Corsair airplane on display in the airpark outside Tinker Airforce Base. The A7D was powered by a TF41 engine. The LTV aircraft was originally ordered for the US Navy in 1964 and the airforce took delivery of the forst A7D in 1968. How fast was the A7D airpoane? Top speed of this aircraft was 698 MPH. Definitely a cool piece of Air Force history.
