US Army Standard Bomber Airplane

Description:

This is an old cigarette card from Wings cigarettes. These cards were included with the cigarettes and they are sometimes called tobacco cards. This is one of fifty modern airplanes as the set was called. It is a US Army Standard Bomber. Technically it is a Douglas B-18A bomber plane. I don't know of the technical spec like top speed and weight carrying capacity, but I do know it did well to perform military duties for the US Army Air Corps. as did many Douglas bombers.
