US Army Pursuit Plane

Description:

This is an old cigarette card from Wings cigarettes. These cards were included with the cigarettes and they are sometimes called tobacco cards. This is one of fifty modern airplanes as the set was called. It is a US Army Pursuit Plane. Technically it is a Curtis P-37 Pursuit plane. This was an all-metal, single seater airplane. With the low wing configuration it was similar to Curtis P-36 aircraft. I'm not sure on the speed and other important specs, I couldn't find any info when I looked.
