RAF Navy Bomber Airplane

Description:

This is an old cigarette card from Wings cigarettes. These cards were included with the cigarettes and they are sometimes called tobacco cards. This is one of fifty modern airplanes as the set was called. It is a RAF Navy Bomber. This was also known as the Handley Page "Harrow". It was euipped with twin Bristol Pegasus engines producing 850HP. It was capable to carry almost three tons of bombs or cargo about 1200 miles. It was also fitted with gun turrets.
