Grumman G21 Airplane

This is an old cigarette card from Wings cigarettes. These cards were included with the cigarettes and they are sometimes called tobacco cards. This is one of fifty modern airplanes as the set was called. It is a Grumman G21. The G21 became one of the most famous amphibious airplanes ever dresigned by Floyd Grumman. It featured twin 400HP Pratt and Whitney Wasp Junior engines. It was capable of 201 mph top speed with a cruising speed of 190 mph. The range was a decent 1000 miles making it an efficient and versitile airplane.
