This is an old cigarette card from Wings cigarettes. These cards were included with the cigarettes and they are sometimes called tobacco cards. This is one of fifty modern airplanes as the set was called. It is a Fairchild Model 24. This was labeled as a family sedan since it was a four place airplane popular among the private pilots. They were easy to fly and just as easy to maintain. They were equipped with an R40 Ranger engine which produced a max speed of 135 mph and a cruising speed of 122 mph. The rate of climb on these airplanes was said to be 830 fpm.
